The most common question people ask us is “How long will my crashed car take to repair?”
We quote for time spent repairing your vehicle and it is virtually an estimate of what time we believe it will take to repair your car.
Sometimes the time we specify is all we need, but in other cases we find the unexpected. When we disassemble your car and sort through the broken pieces, quite often we will find damage that we couldn’t see without removing parts.
Your insurance company may also have put parts on “Report” which means we have to show them the part is damaged before we can order the part. A supplementary quote then has to be sent to your insurance company and we have to wait until they give us the go ahead before we can order more parts.
We do estimate for these but more often than not it requires further repair or more parts, this makes the repair process slow down considerably and we do everything to maintain the time frames we give you.
As a crash repairer we would prefer to keep your vehicle longer and complete the repairs to a high standard than rush it or cut corners in order to meet a certain timeframe. This can mean your car may not be delivered to you when you expected.
However, we want to make sure you leave our workshop with a vehicle that is safe and repaired to the highest standard so you don’t have to think about your car accident again.
Your car is important to you, therefore it is important to us. We understand how integral transport is in our relatively remote location in the Riverland and we will endeavour to complete your vehicle repairs in a timely manner.
